Legendary and charismatic Italian singer-songwriter Paolo Conte is, above all, a live experience. This is evidenced not only by sold-out performances in almost all European concert halls, but also by successful live recordings, many of which have become classics. When his February concert at the famous Scala in Milan was announced this year, it was a scandal for many: a pop musician in perhaps the most important opera house in the world! After the concert, however, only one thing remained: a standing ovation from an enthusiastic audience and now “Paolo Conte alla Scala”, the crowning achievement of his live catalog: 19 of his most beautiful songs, recorded in a “holy place”, as a double CD in digipak and double LP (2 x 180gr) in a gatefold with poster.
