Malia & Boris Blank Convergence
It was first released in 2014 and has since become a long-running hit: the album “Convergence” by Malia and Boris Blank. The soul-jazz singer and the sound inventor of Yello each bring their own unique sounds to the album. The music is clearly electronic, the voice is organic, the sound is sophisticated. “Maybe it’s soul, in the sense that this music comes from the soul,” says Malia. “For me, the roots of these pieces go back even further, to gospel and blues – they are as direct as they are honest.” As a black disc, “Convergence” is already spinning on many turntables, the LIMITED CLEAR VINYL EDITION (180g Optimal pressing) now makes the album a visual experience too.
