Django Reinhardt The Be-Bop Sessions
The music of Django Reinhardt, breathtakingly dexterous and yet melodically swinging, was a style-defining influence for jazz and is still omnipresent as an influence today. Towards the end of his all too short life, the brilliant guitarist discovered be-bop and recorded sixteen magnificent tracks for the French Decca and Blue Star labels in Paris from January to April 1953, which are now compiled on the LP “The Last Be- Bob Sessions”. Newly remastered from the original tapes, as a 140g pressing in a single sleeve with new liner notes.
