It features the unique vocals and piano playing of singer-songwriter Annette Peacock, performing her own compositions with the acclaimed Cikada String Quartet. The Guardian’s John Fordham suggested the album is „one of the most delicate, appropriate and discomfortingly touching undertakings [Annette Peacock] has ever made.” The 2-Lp tip-on gatefold Luminessence re-issue of the album marks its first release on vinyl.
