Irreversible Entanglements is a free jazz collective originally from Philadelphia, PA & Washington, D.C. – formed in 2015.
The band is comprised of vocalist/poet Camae Ayewa (a.k.a. Moor Mother), saxophonist Keir Neuringer, bassist Luke Stewart, trumpeter Aquiles Navarro and drummer Tschesher Holmes.
Adventurous free jazz improvisation driven by Camae’s poetry about the Black experience, survival, power, liberation, social justice.
Protect Your Light is the band’s debut album on Impulse! Records.
