"Blue Note Re:imagined II" is the sequel to the successful album predecessor from 2020. This time a bunch of young British musicians uses modern means and creative interpretations to update famous tracks from the Blue Note label. This time, too, four 7" singles will be released as appetizers. Ego Ella May and Theon Cross kick things off. The young R'n'B singer surprises with a sensual version of Chico Hamilton's "The Morning Side Of Love" from the 1975 album "Peregrinations". The reworking of Thelonious Monk's classic “Epistrophy” by Theon Cross, the virtuoso tuba player from Sons Of Kemet, is much darker and more adventurous.
