Twenty years ago, the film "Brokeback Mountain" was released. It has long been considered a recent Hollywood classic, reaching a huge audience with its dramatic and touching story. Oscars were awarded not only for Best Director and Best Screenplay, but also for the score by Gustavo Santaolalla (The Last of Us, August: Osage County, Babel). The soundtrack album was also a huge success, featuring not only the score but also songs by Willie Nelson, Rufus Wainwright, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmylou Harris, among others. To mark the film's twentieth anniversary, the soundtrack is now being released worldwide for the first time on LP.
