Celebrating the 92nd birthday of the recently deceased music legend: eight of Quincy's most famous albums for the first time as audiophile SHM CDs (original Japanese imports with Obi strips). SHM CDs use a special pressing material that ensures improved transparency and sound definition.

When producer Creed Taylor started his CTI label in the late 1960s, it was clear that his “buddy” Quincy Jones had to be part of the line-up. The album “Walking in Space” was released in 1969 and turned out one of Quincy's first steps towards soul and black music.
