A classic of dynamic, swinging small ensemble jazz! This 1957 session is considered one of Dizzy's best meetings with jazz titans Sonny Stitt and Sonny Rollins. Rumor has it that trumpeter Gillespie had the two saxophonists play against each other before the session, which raised the bar and led to the creation of a now legendary album. Ray Bryant (piano), Tommy Bryant (bass), and Charlie Persip (drums) accompany Gillespie, Stitt, and Rollins on this masterpiece.

Verve Vault Series: Cut and mastered by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound from the original analog tapes and pressed on 180-gram vinyl by Optimal. Single sleeve with iconic original artwork.
