Showcases great originals by ex-Messenger Hank Mobley (‘The Opener’, ‘Night Watch’, ‘High Modes’), Morgan (‘What Know’) and Shorter (‘The Summit’), plus Miles Davis’s famous ‘The Theme’. Also features a cameo from much-sampled Birdland emcee Pee Wee Marquette. Liner notes by esteemed jazz writer Leonard Feather.

BLUE NOTE CLASSIC VINYL EDITION: stereo, all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal, padded inner sleeve.
