Verve Vault is the title of the new LP series from the legendary Verve label, which aims to delight jazz and vinyl fans with two releases per month. Although the LPs are moderately priced, quality is paramount in every aspect: All tracks are cut and mastered from the original analog tapes by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Optimal. The iconic artwork is unchanged and lovingly reproduced, retaining gatefold sleeves if originally released that way. The series' repertoire consists of renowned classics as well as timeless gems from Verve and its sister labels Impulse!, Mercury, Polydor, and others.
